Another bothered Banglorean starts his "fights"

Looks like the stuff I've been upto has really inspired at least one other person, a close friend of mine :) He's gone on the warpath. And he attributes it to my wife and I... very flattering.

A couple of days ago, Ravi saw some Tata Elxsi buses parked on the road as usual, narrowing the road and causing traffic congestion. Instead of doing what he usually does, grumble and pass them, he decided to do something about it. Read his post: The Responsible Corporates.

This gets even better. Today morning he took a call center driver to task for rash driving. This is what he says on his post The usual rash driving cab:

...The security did not allow me in. I talked to the head of admin department, he invited me in. He requested me to give a written complaint, i did. Within 10 mins he showed me a letter, which was suspension order for cab driver.

Will the driver really be suspended? We don't know. Ravi will follow up tomorrow.

its high time you and your friend learnt the regional language if it is barrier ... stop printing excuses that language is a handicap ... if you go to Bihar or UP and talk in a South Indian language, obviously they wont understand, and to think abt conversing in English in these areas, the lesser said the better!

@anonymous doesn't seem to get the whole point... The whole aim is to make this city a better place to live in, irrespective of the languages you speak (or can't speak)....

Let's thank Amit for what he is trying to do and try and emaluate him, instead of trying to score petty points on which part of India is better than which...

@rajat: Whaaaat? Read the post, dude. Its about traffic problems. Does it say anything about language?

@anon: Wow, you must have been quite a gee whiz kiddo in your heydays. Your grasp of logic is boundless. So tell me, if we lived in a perfect world, why would we need to do all this?

@anon1 and rajat: My apologies. I didn't realize you were commenting about Ravi's blog on my blog. Go drop your comments there, and let him respond. As I've said before, the language "barrier" is a non-issue as far as I'm concerned, and I will not discuss it.

@Rajat: I was apologizing for not understanding your comment. Language ke liye apology nahin hai, bhai ;)

@rajat: (Last word from me on this. I will not be drawn into a debate about language.) I'm not sure why you get that feeling since it is absolutely not true. Have a nice day.

@Rajat and Templar: Whatever guys. Happy bitching. I have other fish to fry than carry on these pointless discussions. Further comments will be moderated. I thank you for your time.
