The court said "The nature of transaction and the intention of the parties when a hotelier receives a guest in his hotel is one essentially of service in the satisfaction of a human need or desire - ministry to a bodily want." If the mall/multiplex can prove that you are a "guest" and they are performing a "service", then nothing can be done about it. Still, this is worth taking up.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15029609535044392885noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7125821.post-34312504640379367382007-03-08T16:29:00.000+05:302007-03-08T16:29:00.000+05:30How about the shops inside the multiplexes and mal...How about the shops inside the multiplexes and malls?
-- RaviRavihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11225222435577599815noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7125821.post-86451636764902837872007-03-06T17:46:00.000+05:302007-03-06T17:46:00.000+05:30That definitely is not. What about those shops at railways and bus depots?

I was once overcharged for a bottle of water, by a shop inside the KSTRC bus depot at Majestic. I protested but all he said was "Inside the bus stand, this is the price". I don't think this was legal, was it?Retail Couponshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07251526006600702618noreply@blogger.com
